We have delivered a large number of clinical workshops to a variety of different NHS trusts and departments based on the need of their service. Some of our most popular workshops are described below. Whatever clinical problems you see within your service, we can help your team overcome them through a thoughtfully designed workshop. We are extremely excited to be working with our first non-NHS clinical partner, The British Psychotherapy Foundation, in 2025.
This is our introductory workshop devised for internationally educated clinicians from all professional disciplines who deserve to enter unfamiliar working environments feeling confident and ready to do their their best for NHS patients.
There are now more international medical graduates (IMGs) than domestic medical graduates registering with the GMC each year and it is projected that by 2030 IMGs may become the biggest group of GMC registered doctors. Likewise, between April and September 2022, internationally educated nurses (IENs) made up 49% of those newly-registered with the NMC.
3.5% of the annual healthcare budget was spent on compensation in the year 2022/2023. We believe we can reduce clinical errors and complaints via communication skill enhancement. Improved communication between multi-disciplinary team members and then patients and their relatives can increase patient & relative satisfaction and reduce complaints.
Practicising difficult clinical and non-clinical conversations relevant to the participants day-to-day work and learning vital techniques will result in clinicians leaving our workshop feeling prepared to face even the most challenging encounters in their workplace.
Through our extensive expertise in psychiatric medicine, we can offer comprehensive training in the diagnosis and management of mental disorder, including the development of robust risk assessment and mental state examination abilities.
Whether it is supporting A&E staff to assess and manage the acute risks presented by mental health patients waiting for psychiatric hospital beds in their department or giving first year undergraduates their first experience of speaking to someone with florid psychosis or mania, we will provide a fantastic learning experience.
